In Proc. of SPS-DARTS
In this paper, we develop a novel, real-time optical tracking system
that can track a head-mounted display within a multicamera
environment. To this end, we propose a fast algorithm which is
based on a 3D prediction-correction approach. For the prediction,
a constant velocity temporal model is used, and the correction
is performed by Levenberg-Marquardt model tting over all
markers and all views. The tracker achieves frame rates of 28Hz
and can handle occlusion of markers.
