My main interest is in 3D reconstruction in computational limited environments. Due to my background in electronics and digital design I like the link to the hardware and real time applications.
My main research area is in the field of 3D reconstruction using low end hardware. In addition I'm involved in the ETH Zurich Robocup Team in the SPL League www.robocup.ethz.ch.
After primary school I did an apprenticeship as an electronics technician at the Lernzentren LfW in Baden. The last two years of the apprenticeship took place at XRite Inc in Regensdorf. After the obligatory military service I started my Bachelor in Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Northern Switzerland (FHNW). In 2011 I switched to the ETH Zürich where I had to take some additional courses and then started the Masters studies with specialization in micro electronics. Since 2014 I am now a PhD candidate under supervision of Professor Luc Van Gool at the Computer Vision Laboratory at the ETH Zürich.
