Hello! I am Kevis, PhD student at the Computer Vision Lab of ETH Zürich, supervised by Prof. Luc Van Gool. I received my M.Eng degree from National Technical University of Athens, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Before joining CVL, I was a member of the CVSP lab of N.T.U.A, where I worked on Human Action Recognition in videos with Prof. Petros Maragos. My main research interests are boundary detection and segmentation (generic, semantic, biomedical, video), by using deep learning techniques when necessary.

Sep 2017: Journal extension of OSVOS is available on arXiv! SoA both in accuracy and speed for video object segmentation!!

Sep 2017: Our work on 3D from CNN keypoints is available on arXiv! ~100μm accuracy for stereo reconstruction in retinal surgery!!

Apr 2017: Extended version of COB accepted by T-PAMI.

Feb 2017: We released the code for our CVPR 2017 paper: One-Shot Video Object Segmentation: Caffe and TensorFlow implementations available!

Miscellaneous

Take a look at Skyros (my hometown), a small island in the center of Aegean, in Greece. Skyros is popular for its ponies, its ceramics and its traditional carnival (video).
