Since October 2010, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the CALVIN group of the Computer Vision laboratory at ETH Zürich, working under the supervision of Prof. Vittorio Ferrari.

Past activities
I completed my doctoral work under the advisorship of Cordelia Schmid and Jakob Verbeek. My research efforts aimed at using text captions or user tags to improve the learning of visual recognition systems. My manuscript, entitled Exploiting Multimodal Data for Image Understanding in downloadable on the LEAR publication server.
